10th Senate, CSO, advocates zoning of Senate presidency to South East

A coalition of civil society organization for peace and unity of Nigeria,has appealed to the president-elect and all stakeholders of All Progressives Congress to zone presidency of 10th Senate to the South East.

Chairman of the coalition, Doctor Onwubuya Abraham Breakforth made the appeal at a News briefing in Abuja.

He said zoning presidency of the 10th
Senate to South East would foster greater peace and unity in the country.

Doctor Breakforth further explained that South East presidency would discourage continuous agitation by the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB adding that the south East has reputable senator capable for the Job.

Doctor, Breakforth, who alleged that the South East, geo- political Zone, has suffered unjust treatment in the political equation of the country said that it is only fair and just for the zone to produce the Senate president in the 10th Senate…
