10th NASS Speakership: Ebonyi stakeholders wank Ogah for Deputy speaker

Political stakeholders in Ebonyi state have demanded that the Deputy Speakership position of the 10th House of Representatives must come from the state.

The stakeholders made their position known in a conference in Abakaliki , the state capital

The political Stakeholders had met to review events of the 2023 general election and the place of the state in the national political firmament, decrying that denial of the position to the state the office will be a great disservice, even as they recouned that Ebonyi state had stood for the All Progressives Conference (APC) since inception.

Speaking to journalists shortly after the conference, the media scribe of the group, Chief Solomon explained that the stakeholders wasserious in their demand, adding that they were advancing in their consultations with the leadership of APC and honourable members – elect of the 10th National Assembly.

Speaking further, Chief Ogbonna informed that they have adopted member representing Ezza South And Ikwo Federal Constituency of the state, Rt Hon Chinedu Ogah for the position.

While pretending with members – elect to entrust him with the position. he explained that Hon Ogah was a passionate leader and with unadulterated loyalty. He therefore explained that Hon.Chinedu Ogah had the capacity that would accelerate development, inclusiveness which according to him would also keep the renewed hope and agenda of Mr President in the front burner.
